A New Constitution?
Following a series of meetings that have taken place since the 2008 AGM, Council asked members, Gloria Nicol and Eric Hinton, as well as Leslie Clark, to bring everything together to create a draft constitution to present to the congregation.
In the Spring, everone was asked to look at and comment on a statement of "Mission, Vision and Values. Response to this was overwhelmingly positive, allowing Council to present for the Congregation's consideration, a draft constitution using that statement as a preface.

A Congregational Meeting will be held on November 12, following worship, to discuss and vote on whether or not this will be adopted. If you would like to provide feedback on the constitution before then, please email the church at Niverville United
The final say as to whether or not the new document is ready to be taken to Presbytery for their approval will lie with the people of NUC.
